Star Haze
is part of a granite cottage which nestles in amongst the tiny winding streets of Mousehole (pronounced "Mouzle") in Cornwall. This fishing village was once famously described by Dylan Thomas as "the prettiest village in England." Today Mousehole proudly retains the beauty and charm that inspired this comment.

Mousehole Cornish Cottage: The Dining RoomAbout 50 level steps from the harbour and right in the heart of the village, the cottage is over 200 years old with lots of charm and history; part of the cottage was once a Pilchard Cellar. We have spent time carefully selecting the furnishings in the cottage to give a clean, relaxing and spacious feel. There is a beamed dining room (shown right), kitchen, bathroom, one double bedroom and large living room (with double sofa bed and chair bed) offering an affordable self catering holiday for a family of up to 5.  Mousehole Cornish Cottage: The HarbourMousehole really is the place to go for a magical and authentic Cornish experience. It is within easy reach of the amazing curved sandy beach of Mount's Bay, and from this archetypal West Cornwall harbour you can see St. Michael's Mount in the blue hazy distance. Mousehole is only three miles from Penzance train station, a bus goes from there right into Mousehole, making it an ideal holiday for those without a car. We have put together some pages on Mousehole, the famous Christmas lightsMousehole Cornish Cottage: Christmas Lights (photo right) the rich history of this village and what to do in the immediate area. Plus we have created some pages on Cornwall, its fascinating history and prehistory, the language, festivals and events. We hope you will have time to learn more about our beautiful, proud and fascinating county and we wish you a happy holiday in this special place that we love.
